The crankshaft on the Briggs Vanguard 385777-0349 is 1" x 3-5/32". The 446777-0246 and the 40H777-0242 has a 1" x 3-5/32" shaft. Shortblock sb698177 is a replacemet for this. You cannot interchange the Vanguard and Intek engines. If you have an electric clutch you will have to use the alternator and regulator off of your old engine.
