This has a 1" x 2-1/4" shaft on it. If you purchase one of our engines with the step shafts, you will have to purchase a sleeve-78-1x220 to make the shaft a 1" diameter shaft. The extra length on the shaft should not be an issue. If it is, shorten the shaft.
