This unit has a 1" x 3-5/32" shaft and no fuel pump. If you have an electric clutch to engage the mower blades and you purchase an engine with a 3 amp alternator, you will have to use your alternator and regulator of your old engine. If you use an engine with the canister style air breather, you will have to use the air breather of the old engine.
