The complete engine is no longer available. You can still buy the 24522155 shortblock. You could use the engine CH740-0124 which has a longer shaft on it. (the original shaft is 3-11/32" in length) The shaft is drilled and tapped 2" deep and is not hardened steel so it can be cut down if needed. There may be minor differences like wiring, air breather, throttle and choke controls, however parts would be interchangeable if needed.
