Simplicity Landlord Mower, Lawn and Garden Tractor Category

Original Model: Various models

Some the newer tractors used a 350777 vertical shaft Briggs Vanguard engine in them. If you buy the 35777A-0113 engine, you will need to use your starter or cut the frame for our solenoid to fit down in it. Most of the older tractors used a horizontal shaft engine with the shaft out the front. One engine used in the older models was a 23D in which the 233431 or 243431 was used and typically had a belt driven starter generator on it. If you use the front shaft, it will be a 1" keyed shaft. If you don't use the front shaft, then you could buy an engine with any shaft size.
