Original Model: Various Makes and Models
Please note: You need to stay with the kind of engine that you currently have. Kawasaki, Briggs Intek, or Briggs Vanguard. These engines will not directly replace one another. If you have a Tiger cub with a Honda GXV670TAF, you can use any of our -TC or -Tcat kits, but you will have to do the wiring modifications and we will not be able to assist with that. We can only supply the wiring code for our engines.
The FH601V-BS21 engine has a 1 1/8" x 4-5/16" shaft in it however some units had different engines, such as an FH680V-AS12 with a 1" x 3 5/32" shaft. You need to verify your shaft size before ordering. If you have questions on this, please contact us with your Kawasaki Code Number.
The FH601V-BS29 has a 1-1/8"x100mm (3.94") shaft. You can use our FH721V-S01 engine and reuse your canister air cleaner
The mower number was a SMTC-48a
Some of the units had a Briggs Intek 44P777 engine with a 1 1/8"x 4-5/16" shaft on it.
Some units had the Briggs Vanguard 386777-0122 which had an 1 1/8" x 4" shaft.
The STC61V23BV had a 386777-0026 engine with a 1" x 3 5/32" shaft.

While we may have sold many engines listed above to be used for a Scag Tiger Cub Category, we are NOT claiming these are exact replacements unless the product notes explicitly say so. Many original equipment engines may no longer be in production because of obsolesence or EPA regulations, so in some cases there may not be an exact replacement available. Our intention here is to show that other customers have utilized these in the equipment shown, but may have had to make some modifications to do so. If we know of any required changes, we will list those, however, some adapting during installation should be expected.
