Original Model: Kohler Command CH12.5
There is no exact complete engine available for this. One of the original spec numbers was 1909. The replacement shortblock for the 1909 is the 12 522 05. If you buy a recoil start engine you can use the starter, flywheel, and alternator from the original engine to make this work for you and save money. You will need to use the drive adapter and muffler off of your original engine. You may have to use the oil filter bracket as well and the wiring could be slightly different. You may also need to change the front cover if the mounting holes are different.
